I have to respectfully disagree. This seems more like undoing last year's retooling, when Maya Rudolph suddenly became a big name. The Ava Show stuff was always kind of boring to me, so I'm glad to see it go. Did anyone see the first episode before they messed with it?

TMTOoE is a good episode, but that's more for what it does for the series overall. It was more of a glimpse that some amazing stories were on their way. Take out the last 5 minutes, and you get a fairly average episode. That said, the average episode of Fringe is still great.
