I saw a Lifetime made-for-tv movie with Terry O'Quinn in it, and not even he could save it. I just sat there thinking "Why is Locke suddenly so lame?"

It's about time somebody commented on that quote!

This post is even funnier if your setting is "Newest First".

I actually like "Attached" quite a bit. The plot is dull, but all of the Picard/Crusher character development is worth it. Plus, the paranoid Federation wannabe's are entertaining, especially when Riker gets to tell them off.

"Gwobo Wo-wo?"

Yeah, Wheaton's writing isn't bad. His character on Eureka, however…man, I want to strangle that guy every time he's on screen. I know that's the point, but he lays it on really thick. I hate him almost as much as I hate Wesley.

Even with the F grade, I kind of want to watch this show to see Danielle call some celebrity on his bullshit and storm out. If *that* was the point of the whole show, that might be entertaining.

Haven't seen NATM II (though I know it was written by two ex-State members), but Herman's Head was awesome. And as much as I love those first years of the Simpsons, it hasn't been too bad lately, either.

The very fact that Hank Azaria is in this is enough to make me think it's worth checking out. He wouldn't take it unless it wasn't completely awful, right?

The retooling was motivated by NBC trying to cash in on Maya Rudolph's elevated profile, not related to the quality of the show. So it's not really massive, and not a bad sign at all.

Has Applegate chosen not to go with falsies after her surgery? If so, more power to her.

No, it's obviously a mockumentary about the making of a They Might Be Giants album. They were the official band of Internation Space Year, 1992; a position with no duties or compensation.

Another interesting thing about "Descent I" is that it's the only episode of TNG where you get the title screen before the opening theme. Very strange, and it made the episode feeling rushed, but maybe that's what they were going for. "Damn the opening theme, let's get to the Borg!!!"

You know, he's going to keep doing this until people stop shelling out money for each new version. So the question is, how long will it take to completely alienate all Star Wars fans?

There are tons of pretty faces out there, but I can't think of anybody making music that sounds like hers. I'd say only 5-10% of her success comes from her looks.

Yes, but it's slightly rattier than Riker1's at the beginning of the episode! Then he trims it. Then, when "Defiant" comes along, we get Thomas Riker taking off his "disguise" of extra side burns to look like Riker1. I'm sure it seemed clever at the time.

Now, if Weird Al showed up wearing some crazy Lady Gaga gear, I'd watch it.

Yes, because obviously, TV dramas playing a song means it's bad. It's all the band's fault!

The new album is going to be the big litmus test, isn't it? It'll either be really awesome or really bad, but I'm leaning toward awesome.
