I love this story.

I fell dead asleep in the theater when I went to see "A New Hope" in '97. They're on Tatooine for so goddamn long.

It (probably) will expand into a red giant though, destroying Earth.

I regret that I have but one upvote to give this comment.

The little death, as they say.

What a fun, sexy time for you.

Loved Lorne telling them to get out of his office every time.

I happened to catch "Apollo 13" on TV last night, and it was weirdly comforting. Trump is president-elect, a bunch of cool people who still had creative life left are dead, but don't worry. Tom Hanks is here to calmly get us back home.

I remember a Letterman bit where Richard Simmons was on there promoting a food processor or some damn thing, and the staff rigged it to catch on fire. So great.

That's a little cornball.

It's kind of hard to imagine Trump being part of something that forced him to acknowledge the greatness of someone other than Trump, though, as Scientologists must do for Hubbard.

'Nuff said!

Yeah, as a bi dude, I laughed when I saw the joke because I thought he was saying, "conservatives got so fired up to vote because they were outraged at the idea of having to treat other humans with basic decency." But then he linked that article, so.

I watched a bit of "Cars 2" on cable to see if my daughter would like it. The Michael Caine car straight up murdered a bunch of other cars by blowing up the building they were in. It seemed a bit much for a five-year-old.

It feels like stuff comes out much faster and in greater frequency now, and everything's an instant blockbuster (at least in style, if not receipts). I want to say that there just weren't as many "big" franchises in the 80s and early to mid-90s, and ones that were there (like GI Joe and Transformers) were about broad

I'm not anti-ketchup or anything, but your step dad is obviously a sociopath.

Or sometimes just shaving cream, since it's less sticky/easier to clean off after you've shot your 1940s comedy farce pie fight scene.

A heap! Ooh la la! Is there something wrong with letting it drop where you stand?

Holy shit, that movie. It is scary.

I think when Steve Trevor crashed is when the Amazonians even became aware of what was happening in the outside world. But my Wonder Woman knowledge is pretty bare bones.
