I watched a bit of "Cars 2" on cable to see if my daughter would like it. The Michael Caine car straight up murdered a bunch of other cars by blowing up the building they were in. It seemed a bit much for a five-year-old.

It feels like stuff comes out much faster and in greater frequency now, and everything's an instant blockbuster (at least in style, if not receipts).
