I agree with a lot of what Penn says but I also wish he would chill the fuck out sometimes. You don't have to rail on Jesus today, Penn, there's always tomorrow. I do find it amazing that despite his rather controversial views, boatloads of old conservative Christian grandmothers see his show every night in Vegas.

Punisher War Zone is not a particularly good film but West is absolutely hilarious in that movie. It's clear he had a ball hamming it up. The How Did This Get Made? interview with the director is a really informative insight on the crazy world of filmmaking.

I forgot Barbara was in this episode. I kept waiting for Chase to give us a Barbara-centric episode or even a storyline of some kind to emerge, and in retrospect it was a brilliant move not to. She may as well live on Mars for all the involvement she has in Tony's life.

From everything I have read and heard about Carson's private life, it was incredibly boring. He disliked social events and rarely hung out with other showbiz people, including Ed. Although he was married 80 times so might be some juicy stuff there.

I saw Santana open for the Stones in 1997 and no one gave a CRAP. Carlos looked like he was going to fall asleep on stage. It was definitely a "go to the bathroom before the concert starts" type set.
