Ah yes. This episode has the now-classic exchange:

I thought that Grandma Ida was going to be revealed to be someone from the REAL Don Draper's past, and that Sally would then find out about Dick Whitman.

My mother was going through her own divorce during the 90s, and MCC was played a lot in our home. In fact, her version of "Passionate Kisses" was the first song I ever called my favorite.

It reminds me a lot of season 1 with Akashia. Akashia had a really bad attitude, but she turned it out in the lipsynchs. I think what'll end up happening with Coco is the same thing that happened with Akashia: by LSFYL #3, Ru just got tired of seeing her in the bottom 2 and sent her home.

I worked as a server at a country club for two years, and occasionally I had to work wedding receptions. Working those sucked because it was super late hours, and I always had to be up at 8 the next day, but t was always nice to eat te extra reception food.

I remember catching a marathon of this show on Comedy Central and being mildly amused until they recycled the same "collard greens? We don't call them 'collard people'" joke that The Office already made in season 1's "Diversity Day".

Best article title. Also a good excuse to post this:

Sonic used to have a Frito Chili Cheese Wrap. It's just like how it sounds: fritos, chili(with beans), and cheese(onions on request, but WHO DOES THAT??), wrapped in a tortilla.

Terrence Winter contributed using "Under the Boardwalk." Then he was all like, "Hmmmm…… Boardwalk…."

This just sounds like Sondheim-Lapine's Into the Woods.

Mrs. Coach gets her own version of Michael's "The mere fact you call it 'pop-pop' tells me that you're not ready" line from Arrested Development in that scene with Julie.

Todd, your review reminded me of this song by Kander and Ebb from their musical, Zorba:

To be fair, Jimmy Webb(yeah Oklahoma!) wrote the song. Also, Julie Klausner and Sandra Bernhard knocked this duet out of the park:
