I used to teach elementary school, and I will confirm - I would randomly find glitter on my face or clothes pretty much all the time, even over the Summer.

I thought that this particular New Girl episode was the beginning of the end for that season. The first hint of needless relationship drama and forced situations.

Oh, we all know he just cancelled/postponed those shows because of the blizzard hitting the east coast.

I ate a muffin.

1. Well, again, there's a bit of a leap in your logical progression. "an example of people who often only know their field" would follow "there are lots of people who only know their field," not "A lot of these people…"

"I never said engineers were anti-vaxxers"

Okay, well then I agree! Hmmph.

Well, that's certainly true.

Fair enough point. Nah, no good jumping off points. I agree with your initial statement - it's so broad and inter-weaved that school age is really the only time to get a good foundation, imo. a) Geometry? As someone with a BS in math, let me just say: No. This is not essential for the general public (even though we make people take it in high school). Just double up on the algebra. I'd even be tempted go with rudimentary calc before geometry, but some geometric concepts are probably pre-req for calc.

Do your US History Sophs know a lot about engineering? After a year of general core, people in certain fields are usually required to specialize in college.

"Paleo" is not "nutritious food?"

Um, he won the Boston Marathon last year, the first American runner to so in 30 years-ish, and the year after the bombing, to boot.

Liked for the ROTY reference. Rooflingerder!

Who *are* some of these people? Tom Willis? Graham Elliot? Suzy???

I always thought Rob Lowe. But maybe Lowe can act? I don't know, anymore…

Why the sigh? I can't think of anything better for the Democrats (operating under the assumption that you're not a Republican, in which case the sigh would be fully justified).

I hate being a pedantic grammar nazi, but can we please diagram this sentence?

You think that's impressive? Mitt Romney has entire binders full!
