It's your typical henchman who is so convinced that his boss won't fail, he might as well tell you the entire plan, because, you know, you can't stop it, anyway!

You knew she was the killer, because there was NO OTHER SUSPECT shown in the first third of the show.

I'm sorry, but I think your definition of "substance" is unlikely to find a match in a show called Sleepy Hollow.

I am surprised that nobody wanted to be so pathetic as to point out how the Voice was too obviously John Noble?
You're welcome.

"they have Hessians in America at least 3 years before they actually arrive"
As far as you know…

Now, doesn't that make you want to watch it?
Meh, it's not that spectacular for them to get that right. But you should watch this show.

Oh, I need to pay more attention…nice catch! See, lesser shows would drop a line there such as "It goes like *this*."

Since it's the same writers, I think they already know.

But to say that about SPN you need a history of watching several seasons of the show, not just the first couple episodes. There is no telling how much the original premise will be complicated in the future.

I feel like Katia Winter might be the weak link, so not seeing too much of her right now is fine by me. I mean, she only got cheesy romanticized scenes so far. It's entirely possible that they will derail all that when she appears on a more regular basis as a riff on the by-the-book scenes that preceded it. I am

No, Iit was a send-up of dramatic voiceover speeches. That was the main joke there for me. At the same time, Mison did come across as genuine and you are right about that part, it worked for me.
It was an instant hook into this episode. I smiled and said "Let's get this show on the road!"

Didn't he say "moniker"? If not, I feel like he should have.

Still, the earnest stuff is just as effective, mostly thanks to Beharie (so far). The best shows for me anyway are those which combine drama and comedy in a way that makes both of it work. If there's only one or the other - no matter how well done - I find myself not interested.

Well, they don't want to kill them, because they need answers. Awfully nice of the Music Teacher to give them the cliff notes.

Yeah, I see a lot of SPN in this.
I mean, dripping blood on the book to summon demons? Ok, that might be a stock horror fiction thing.
Would you say Clancy is John (John Clancy? Stay focused!) or Bobby? Maybe that's going to be Jones. Maybe I am taking this too far.

Same thing here. Sleepy Hollow is off to a much better start than Fringe. Yet, I cannot imagine that this show will ever touch relevant topics in a way that Fringe did. It will always be more crazy fun, obviously.

Did Zack say that the bit was bad? Just that it was partially awkward, which is true. I liked it as well. Let's all be losers, then.

Sleepy Hollow
Loopy as hell.

There's always an MVP. Even if there isn't much "value" to that one, because everybody sucks and they just suck a bit less.

Haha, I just had to read my comment again to find out in what way I could possibly have come across as in need to "chill the fuck out".
Nope. Sorry. Can't figure it out.
