Pleeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaase!

I was disappointed as well, because both Matt and Sherriff Forbes are characters I could do well without. I don't get the love for those two. Seriously, I don't want to hear Matt tell me how broke he is, ever again…
That woman playing Mama Forbes is a pretty bad actress. She has always been entirely unconvincing when

What's the confusion about Silas and Bonnie? Silas wants to die, because he has only been sorta dead (there is no such thing, I know) for the last 2000 years or whatever. That probably sucks. Bonnie wants the dead people in her life to return.

No, I think that might be the only good part of this episode. It is easy to explain. She focused on hatred for Katherine while turning it back on. Whatever you focus on is heightened as an emotion in the aftermath of flipping the switch. It's cold TVD logic.

I completely forgot about her kids and was wondering why she didn't get into the car she was walking towards…which means she was running past her car, how did she plan to get away at first?

Vic makes even torture fun!

I disagree. I found it refreshing that there was no twist to it, because I had already guessed that Paul was in on it during the first or second episode, so naturally I thought it can't be that easy. And it isn't, really. He doesn't know everything there is to know.

You are about as subtle as the reviewer accuses the episode of not being.

@avclub-71348decaf1df2bb85be2ece24cc2a1d:disqus I don't remember it being different even back then. At the core, the topic has always been relationships. Not that there is anything wrong with that. This show usually never gets too corny. This backdoor pilot is the first time I really noticed, other than, well, the

Because it's not Katherine. It's Elena. Dun-dun-dun!
(Oh, I wish…)

The Sun And Moon Curse was 100% bullshit Klaus made up, himself. Or did that never happen? Did I dream that awesome plot twist?

Interestingly, I draw a blank on how Klaus got werewolf in his blood. I don't remember him being bitten before he was turned into a vampire.

I wish Alaric had been unkillable. I hope Silas brings him back now that Cult got cancelled (duh). Please don't tell me, if you know.

Call me crazy, but Tonkin has done some interesting work on TVD, already. That's the least of my worries.

You cannot drop this show. It hasn't even been picked up, yet.

I hope you are wrong, because that would be yet another hybrid. You make compelling points, though…
Oh, and it means you kinda agree with my theory that Marcel has a witch to control the witches.

Agreed on the new witch. For some reason I liked her sister, who died.

Sadly, yes…it is. Here's to hoping that this show will let it all go to shit and turn Klaus into an anti-anti-hero, just because I don't think I have ever seen that before. If I can stand watching a villain as a protagonist…that remains to be seen, but I am curious to try…

Liked, because I know you are right about everything. Unliked myself, because I know I am still going to watch it.
