It's too expensive to produce the show, hold Strathairn and so on. I guess it was to be expected. I'd rather have them cancel it than end up like Warehouse 13 looks these days (judging from the premiere, which was horrifying).

It's also their cheapest-looking and product-placement-iest scripted show from what I could tell of the little I could bear to watch of its premiere past season. Does it get better from there? Even the acting seemed so much worse than before.
Tell me it's just the premiere?

Nice way to describe it. The show always made me happy, even when it was sad.

Well done, Mr. Shillelagh.

Somewhere between the start and the end of that comment you turned a guest arc into a spin-off.
I might still approve, though.

I choose to believe that they are all dead and Gary still exists as part of the electromagnetic spectrum. He "walks" through GCS. It works.

That is not even true. Todd is on record for saying that he likes Eureka. It is a different kind of show, however. One that is far easier to produce. Which is all that he said.
For what it's worth, Eureka was consistently entertaining, often-times heart-warming. Just a really fun bunch to watch.

Yeah, double cocks with shitting on top for that!

I guess it's not a huge surprise, but very veryyyy sad… =(
This news made my day on Opposite Day.

I noticed that you can tell Katherine from Elena by the vein on Dobrev's forehead being more pronounced. Worked a couple times for me, although I didn't pay attention during this episode. I think that vein is real, no make-up.

I am used to previews cheating, but I notice lately in several shows that previouslies are deliberately misleading new viewers…they left out the fact that Christine is alive, as you pointed out. This annoyed me right out of the gate.

Please, this is nowhere near Terriers…

This was a very good episode, but didn't quite reach A-status for me. The flashbacks gave away the ending and felt otherwise out-of-place. I am tired of the surprise-ram-from-the-side trope…which I surprisingly cannot find on TV Tropes. WTF?

Two things added late to the game:

"1) "for his skiful and selfless performance." Too lazy to put an L in there PDN??"
That wouldn't be very skiled, either.

Carter slipping him the phone looked really obvious from my POV and there was a guard right behind her who couldn't possibly have missed it…she could have at least tried to bump into the prisoner or something.

You went from "bored" to "favorite non-cable show" in just this one episode? And I thought *I* had transitioned fast!
Well, it's not my favorite, yet.

The Machine is watching everyone all the time.
