No need to crucify you. SG-1 was a cheap-looking, often-times silly show on the surface, but there were great character moments hidden within and it was almost always fun, at the very least.

I didn't watch most of season 1 and I just kept going with season 2. Now I want to backtrack.
To be honest, I feel like it might be an interesting way to watch this show out of order, filling in the blanks.

Not to mention that they supposedly had no idea who Gauss is, although his picture was on the blackboard, top left.
To be honest, I immediately took this as Mrs. Bentham's attempt to have them figure out a way around their busywork. But I guess the episode didn't really want us to believe that.

I managed 15 minutes before I gave up. The pilot's first half is just horrible. Years later I come back and in s2 now I can't stop watching. This show is the most fun I had watching back-to-back since…yeah, Buffy.

You must have passed out during his long monologue in the cab about what a poor bastard he is. I don't blame you.

Damn, what is wrong with me…first I don't like the show, now I easily give a rather lacking episode a pass. Yeah, that dialog between Reese and the taxi driver was pretty awful, especially the music…

I'll add another crack-pot theory regarding the ending: Gary is unconscious. What happens if you heighten his ability? Does he become part of the electromagnetic spectrum? I admit to ignorance as to how his ability works or what it even is. But maybe he is able to travel as a wave, right now? And that's how he sees

I love spot-the-actor! Especially if I barely noticed or liked them back then and now they are major players (as you said) I enjoy.
Or kind of the other way around. I saw the actress playing Anna on Alphas and liked her. Then I saw her again as Emilia on Supernatural. I didn't notice. But I sure hate Amelia (sp?).

Hahaaa.

How do you feel they retconned Kat? I must have missed something. I understand the nature of the retcon, but not why you think it applies.

But…I also remember a scene in this season when she is turning her smell up to 11 and
