She made the most of this horrible plotline, which required her to be a defendant, a psychologist and a rape empath ("I saw it in her eyes!"…all I saw from that bad actress was lies) out-of-the-blue. She was much better in "Skeleton Crew".

The line in which she has to summarize her character as a way of saying "I like you."? I don't wish a line like that on anyone.

Meh, it's deteriorating. Try reading the lines along with the song. Rarely fits any more. This feature is starting to warrant cancelling just as the show does.

Your definition of "going nowhere" is a bit strange. It led to Dexter killing an innocent person, because he was backed into a corner. That was a pretty huge development. Which then was more or less dropped, that is true.

Ok, this time I fail. Guess I missed all that. So they at least prepared her backstory this season. (Look at the other response which because of this board's super-shitty nesting policy won't notify you. This needs to change.)

@Kumagoro:disqus That was precisely the point. That they all connect. That is contrivance. You failed, Kumagoro. :D

I briefly read "not to be a pendant" and was thinking if that is a thing now in discussion for this show.
Someone please think of a witty reason why it would be. I got nothing.

Monroe became unhinged far earlier than that. Miles already tried to take him down when he was still with the militia. He couldn't do it and ran away, instead.

I was also pleasantly surprised by David Lyons opposing Billy Burke. The scene in the cemetary had extreme cornball potential, but he handled it well. They both did. But I didn't like that Harry Potter line…

Not even close. This was exactly like one of those earlier fights against the nemesis of the first game. You meet them again several times when they are stronger and so are you.
