There is time to turn the black-and-white thing around. It's not the first show in which that would happen. Sadly, on networks a show is best-served to use the common denominator of good vs. evil as it sets out. It is not a stretch to assume that Monroe is responsible for the militia to be full-on bad, because he

But Nolan doesn't know about any of his problems? I thought Nolan always comes to Jack, not vice versa.
You know how Jack doesn't want help from the rich people if he can help it. That's what his fight with Amanda was about. Sure, Nolan is a good friend, but I don't think that changes his stance.

I know this is a soap opera, but Victoria's backstory was a bit too much for me.
Why would her mother assume that after "framing her for murder" and kicking her out of the house she would just keep quiet when she shows up and demands to put on a show for her potential new husband?

Isn't she supposed to be dead? Yeah, that usually means they show up. It will turn out that she ran away with the mob guy that was killed and the kids all turn out to be brothers.

Because you are half-asleep through all the episodes?

She simply looks fake. I would be surprised if she were not. I think it became more noticeable during the course of season 1. The make-up department may be at fault for highlighting her (supposed) surgery too much?

Biggest issue I had with this episode. Did Ashley show up by pure coincidence? Or is it Takeda's doing? Because I don't remember Emily sending Ashley to the Hamptons. Was that even insinuated back in season 1?

Yes, to be honest, she looks much better (as in naturally aging) compared to Madeline Stowe who is wearing on me because she looks faker by every passing episode. That crazy smile of hers is starting to creep me out…which is probably intended, though.

It was easy to miss in those hushed voices. I had to replay it, because I didn't catch it all the first time around.

Maybe I misunderstood, but I was under the impression that he didn't think it was awful, at all. He just didn't want him to become anything else but his successor for Grayson Global.
