Here's my pet peeve: when is a character going to acknowledge that they're all named after philosophers/scientists/writers/historical figures? It drives me nuts because it's sort of breaking the fourth wall… it nudges the audience, saying "huh? huh? isn't this all so significant" and yet the characters never notice…
