Abraham Lincoln is a Mexican in this one, right?
Abraham Lincoln is a Mexican in this one, right?
It makes sense if you don't think about it.
Yeah, it reeeeeeally went downhill when they replaced Vagina Sheen with Ass-ton Coochie. What were they thinking?
"I canned Martha Stewart b/c her show sucked, you canned Martha Stewart b/c SHE TOLD YOU TO."
DOTD remake sucks. I mean it was ALRIGHT, but I never got what people saw in it. THE FLY and THE THING are the go-to examples for good horror remakes. My fingers are crossed for the Evil Dead remake, that would pretty much be the coolest shit ever to me. I agree, the idea of this remake seems like an utter crime…
Poetic justice of a twisted sort, baby.
Stephen King is awesome. IT is my favorite book of his. But every time a Stephen King discussion pops up I always make a point to obnoxiously push the hell outta Joe R. Lansdale. King's a giant but Lansdale is a waaaay more talented horror writer.
That sounds pretty solid. But I think you're missing the point. People hate that version of Carrie for exactly all the reasons you have listed.
And a "Hate" button! That is such a good idea.
I thought the fourth dimension was time, not smell, which would make all "2D" films 3D, and all "3D" films 4D, automatically. Booyah. Let THAT simmer in yr mind for a while.
The Louvre is awesome. One of the best gigantic museums full of fine art in the world. The wing that's full of AXUAL, LIVE DINOSAURS is absolutely astonishing.
I would totally buy a MoMA3D 3D card for my Nintendo 3DS.
@avclub-c42f76f3b235e177ed57983b6721d0f3:disqus is my favorite!
@avclub-09a0aabb73e345f3b2ad865bc4fc1b28:disqus You're right. Phineas and Ferb is clearly the best cartoon on TV right now. What was I thinking?
Return to Oz is awesome
You can tell that the animators/writers/team behind SpongeBob Squarepants is classically trained. But it's still pretty damn sad that in 2012 it's the best cartoon we've got. Adventure Time is totally for mushheads, and Regular Show reminds me of this thing a hipster once told me about Captain Beefheart's "Safe As…
I like this story!
Thanks for the input, Batcula.
It makes too much sense now.
I would axually watch the "Fake News Network" you've described.
