Yes!  Exactly.  Since the end of season 1 the writers seem to have been working harder and harder to make Dexter seem like Batman.  I was just looking through the evolution of Dexter ad's over the years and it's gone from showing Dex as some serial killer just holding a knife to Dexter with goddamn angel wings and

I just realized how much more immensely enjoyable the last few seasons of Dexter would be if "Dark Passenger" was actually what Dexter called his penis.  I think I'm going to be re-watching some Dexter…

What really got me was when they showed the "Gellar went underground" clip in the summary part at the beginning.  Really writers?  Really?  Was that some amazing and witty piece of writing that you wanted to make sure everyone completely noticed.  Ugh.

Exactly, you can never go wrong underestimating this show.  That's been true since at least season 3.

That was supposed to be serious?  I always thought that was a joke line.  It was one of my biggest laughs in the pilot.  I actually make that joke around my Dexter watching friends if I ever have an empty container of some sort.
