I think it's more to do wit Ryan not liking the attention Amber gets at the Luncheonette from sexy musicians (note the look on his face at that recording gig) and wanted to brand Amber with a giant, flashy ring so that all the guys know she is Taken.

Can we talk about the scene where Joel and Julia talk to Victor and he is so upset? Great bit of acting from that kid. EDIT: Oh I see further down that other people are appreciating this scene too. Good one! Sorry for being a broken record a day late.

It might be time for Abbie to take Ichabod shopping and get him some fresh clothes. That 250-year-old has got to be smelling a little ripe by now, no?

Tom Mison's portrayal of Crane's smug satisfaction with his joke about men who only read newspapers was utter perfection

As long as any of the Kardashians or anything on Bravo is airing, then it can't be the WORST show on television. But it's up there, good lord. Redeemed slightly only by Dylan McDermott's beautiful glare.

I don't care what happens on this show ever so long as I get to just keep watching Tom Mison's devilishly handsome face for 60 minutes once a week.

Yes, thank you! I LOVE Jason Ritter, but Sarah and Hank are so meant to be. I just want the writers to quit jerking Sarah around, romantically, and let her just be with Hank and integrate him and his awkwardness in to the family where they belong. They are adorable. (And more Hank and Max forever.)

Joel is hot but snoozy for sure. But he was great when drunk. Basically, he's just written as the all-American perfect male, which is kind of dull. Ed has some actual personality.

Thank you! Is it super obvious which cast member got me to watch Parenthood in the first place? ;)

I like Monica Potter too, but alas I'm not fond of Kristina. Is it wrong to think it would have made a more compelling drama if she had died of her cancer? Adam as a widower trying to raise Max alone would have been fascinating.

Oh yeah, I forgot she worked there. She's never there in the scenes of the two Bravermen men recording!

For once I agree with Sims - season four is my favorite too (until the very end). I loved that Rory was boy-drama free and had a season to just kick back being herself and growing up. Much as I love the boys, she was too defined by them for a while (and later, woefully). Season four is fun - we get to see Lorelai go a

Weeping is Kristina's default. Has there ever been an episode when she DOESN'T cry and whine?! (Sorry, she is the one character I really can't stand on the show.

Have they ever explained what Zeke (and Camille) did for work to buy such a mansion? Obvs it would have been way cheaper 40+ years ago when bought, but still

OK the later scenes with Jasmine and Crosby were great but it was a pretty lousy thing she did just running full steam ahead with this big purchase and forcing Crosby to ditch his car without even consulting him or anything. Even if he eventually agrees with her, I get really tired of her character just bossing him

I liked Max! But then I'm a sucker for a well-read, confident, handsome man (crazy, right?)

I just…can't, with Sherilyn Fenn. Her characters are always so unlikeable and she just always seems like she's trying too hard. But that's probably the writing, not the actress, who is stunning. But seriously "that's a horse of a different color?" Most annoying cultural ref of dialogue in GG ever (almost). But she's

In Older Ted's mind, the story of how he met their mother began the night he met Robin. Structurally, it makes sense that it has to end with him finally moving on from Robin right before he meets The One. It's not like the show's writers knew it would last 9 seasons and have to be dragged out that long - I think

Maybe I'm weird - I loved season 4! (SPOILERS) No stupid Rory boy drama (until the very end, ugh), love all the stuff with the inn coming in to being, Sookie pregnant, Rory and Paris on spring break, Lorelai under extreme work-related stress, Luke finally beginning to make a play for her… it's all done very well right

I like Logan too - it's the way they changed Rory in season 6 and 7 because of Logan that I don't like. She was modest and humble and likeable in the early years and then with the influence of Logan and his money and spending more time with Emily she really did start to become more like a proper Gilmore and less like
