I don't think that HAS TO be hypocritical. So far as I can recall, watching GOT, they've only had EXTREMELY CONVENIENT MAJICK a couple of times. That's the worst thing about wizards and shit, I think.

I haven't read 50 Shades, but it was a hilarious way to spend a power outage with one of my teenagers reading it aloud by candle light. She substituted "DNA rifle" among others for all the penis descriptions in deference to her little sister. One woman's trash, I guess.

It really is pretty unique. I remember watching it when it was new and being stunned by the way it lulls along until it doesn't. (It's nice to have some place to discuss such things, because back then I didn't have anyone who would have listened past "born-agains in the office.")
