Ever behind the curve, I finished up my first viewing of Mad Men season 4 and think it will be totally manageable to watch all of season 5 before April 7. The rest of my family will watch it if it's on, but I'm the only one who squeals with delight at the props and costumes. Maybe the squealing is what keeps them from

FWIW, I am very jealous of your disappointing and wasted Pinback opportunity!!

This is not a tweet!!

Shhh. Nevermind. She has a gag right now and that's all that matters.

"Brazil" 12 times in 6 days would definitely make a person jumpy about the plumbing.

HAHAAHAHHAHAHAAHH. If I had the gumption I would change my name to "For God's sake, Kevin, turn on the damn captions already." HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA

Just watched this one and I have solved Juliette — she's a Deer-In-The-Headlights Wesen which means her power is to freeze and get hit. Yup!!

Mmmm. I think their intimacy is established in all their cooperative maneuvers and non-verbal communication, and I gotta admit I never considered that they didn't have a thriving sex life (for a multi-decade couple). Zoe is a toy and Tom is a dreamy memory, so, yeah. That's different that the way he relates to a woman

Reading through all this and the comments is making me want to run outside and roll around in the mud. THANKS AVCLUB!!!

I like the idea of a "whydunnit."

I remember it well enough to be sure to never watch it again. Never has a movie with a mouth-breathing protagonist made me feel so despondent about humanity. At least it was a spring board for Toni Wassername. She's not on SPLASH, is she??

Something was broken today. I got up and took Wednesday pills again because Thursday wasn't here….

Now that you mention it, I might prefer MARXITE. (Around here, we're first and foremost BALTIMORONS).

"Meet the Hutterites - We Are Not a Cult" is repeating on NGCHD. Can't imagine how I missed it before!!!!

NARWHAL!!!

No worries, Card!! I'm almost never joking, unless I am. But what's really baking my noodle right now is that "What's on tonight" is still "What's on LAST night." Is Thursday cancelled?

Well, since you asked, I looked it up. It was based on a novel by "Richard Stark" aka Donald Westlake who wrote some pretty gritty stuff besides. He did not die in the same year as Roy Scheider, so there's no cooincidental googling going on here today!!

I agree with you in a Medium way!! I didn't hate "2010", in fact I haven't been able to hate ANY of Roy's movies. It's weird to think that Kier Dullea lived past 2001, but Roy never saw 2010.

Also tonight Showtime is listing "Payback" and "Paycheck" side-by-side. One stars that guy and the other has that other guy, but was "inspired" by a Philip K. Dick story, so… maybe.

Seconded, kinda. I would watch if it's going to get VDW reviews. Yer the best, Todd!!
