Relatively speaking, their new stuff is somewhat bland.  I still think Some Nights is one of the better power pop albums of the past couple years.

"One Foot" is also a pretty weak single.  I'm not sure why they didn't go with "Stars" or "All Alright."

Since fun. was mentioned, I may as well join in and add my two cents worth:  To me, it seems like "We Are Young" is really two songs in one.  You have the chorus, which is epic in its epicness, and then you have the verses, which are generally depressing.  It's quite a juxtaposition, which is probably why it works.…

Yeah, the whole "not controlling his bowels during intercourse" line was really filthy, and made me laugh for about minute. There were a couple other lines as well, but the aforementioned one stands out the most to me.

I hope I'm not the only one who wants to see more of Woody as the series goes on.  His appearances, though usually brief, have enough surrealism to make laugh every time.
