Running Scared totally caught me off guard with how awesome it was. As far as balls-out over-the-top action comedies go it is pretty hard to top. Plus it has, for some reason, Juliet from Lost as a sociopathic child murderer. Now that's entertainment.
Give me the Guess Who.
Why can the Road Runner go through the painted fake tunnel, but the Coyote can't? I can accept the mechanical devices being faulty but that always really bothered me.
It's over 9000.
Copper Blue is a top ten all-time record for me. I like it way better than anything Husker Du ever did. I guess that is probably sacrilege to some, but holy shit CB is a phenomenal record. All killer no filler as they say.
Brain of J is totally badass. Last Exit is a personal fave too. I already said this elsewhere but their opening songs on every album are always killer.
Catch 33 is way underrated. Awesome record. Chaosphere is still my favorite metal record hands down. Sweet Jesus!
AFJA would be more awesome if I could hear the bass. That being said, Blackened and Dyers Eve are about as perfect as metal gets. Listening to Dyers Eve makes me want to hit people in the face, but in a good way.
MESHUGGGGGGGGGGAH. Untouchable.
I'm pretty sure the best song they ever wrote is still Ole Nessie off of Remission. I really like Leviathan, but Remission is fucking off the charts.
That would teach me!
super late
to this discussion and i'm not about to read the entire thing right now, but my favorite song is 48 by sunny day real estate. the end
Vanilla Sky
I went to see this in the theater with my ex, and we sat about ten rows down from some idiot teenagers. About 20 minutes into the film, or right when Cameron Diaz drives Tom Cruise off a cliff (spoiler), the kids in the top row start making a ton of noise. Then, one of them tosses a plastic booster seat…
HOLY SHIT
A good 10% of my music collection is Touch & Go stuff… there was a time (circa 98-99) when I bought everything and anything they put out. Seam, Don Caballero, Arcwelder, Brainiac, Polvo, June of 44… some of my favorite music ever. I got into so much awesome shit because of them. Really fucking sad news.
You're a goody little two shoes!
Reef Blastbody? Trunk Slamchest?
6 is great. The triple decapitation of the yuppie paintball players is genius. There's also a really good line, one of the campers turns to the other and goes, "So, what WERE you going to be when you grew up?" The whole movie has a pretty good sense of humor. Toss in some inventive kills… good times for all.

The preview
with the swelling, ear-splitting opera music, totally turned me off from this movie.
