Please Please Please Please Please watch Magicians with David Mitchell and Robert Webb. They should be number 1 for one of the funniest comedies I've seen in a long time.

TV: As someone mentioned, Claire's goodbye to her family and her final drive from Six Feet Under is pretty unbeatable. The goodbyes in Angel's finale and the back alley stand off are a favorite too.

What Techumseh said. If Buffy ended with the Gift, I'd probably like Buffy more (or at least equally) to Angel. Buffy's final to seasons is what pushes Angel to the top for me as a series - unfortunate but true. But the thing is, Angel DID only have 5 seasons, and Buffy had a stinker 6/7 season. Plus, Angel had Dark

Would the scene still have been inappropriately set to that Sarah McLachlan song, thereby tarnishing the memory of Season 2's fantastic use of McLachlan?

If anyone comes across a link to the list of "ghost" cameos, I'd love to see it. Preferably with details about season/death because I didn't remember most of those people! I'd also love to see a list of people missing from the ghost parade.

I know a lot of people who saw Fred's death as just Joss killing off characters we love because that's what he does - and just killing for killing's sake. But I always thought of this death as one of the most necessary in the Whedonverse. The Angel gang had to pay, and pay dearly, for its deal with the Devil of

After this episode aired I read a really interesting recap that talked about the Chaos theory and pointed out moments of the Chaos Theory in the episode. Ever since then the scene that really struck me was Spike sitting on the steps at the end of the episode and an employee passing to one side of him, and the idea

No problem! Thanks for your interest. - Kyle

Thanks very much for this post. I hadn't read anything about this. I know that Zynga raises a lot of money for big organizations, through Zynga.org - not that that negates any of the concerns you have. We'll keep that in mind for any future similar fundraising efforts. But for now,Rock For Kids welcomes any donation

The winner of the auction pays and gets to play with that A.V. Club writer. The winner or loser of the Words With Friends game isn't obligated to pay anything - unless you can convince them to make it a bet.

Well said! My thoughts exactly.

The Eggo Flip Flop product placement was pretty wild too. DDK loves his breakfast food.

I've seen Azzarello do a live Q&A and that was kind of the vibe I got there - short concise answers and he didn't really feel the need to go much deeper on most things.  Good questions on Oliver's part though!

Yeah, by voting for Sophie he stays positive in Brandon's eyes (other than the not giving back the necklace thing) and he makes Coach look like the bad guy for not sticking with Brandon. Pretty smart play on Albert's part.

I kind of want Coach or Ozzy to win to *invalidate* the concept. If Rob won last season and another returner wins this season, I think it will show that at least the bringing back the returning survivors was lame. But I'm thinking Sunday will be the last we see of the Redemption Island concept anyway.

One surviving man…and his mischievous pet monkey! Weeee! Fun and quirky.

Watching the Chris Hardwick/Patton Oswalt Walking Dead debrief. They just brought up "what is with the corpses just dead in their cars at the weird road block" and were kind of making fun of it.  That was one of the many things that took me out of the story.  I suppose I could believe that something had happened that

Thank you! I agree with the fact that that was the worst of the season. A lot of reviewers and many of my friends think that the CDC bit saved the first season. What? I kind of liked the idea of heading toward the CDC - it totally makes sense and was pretty interesting. The big problem was that the CDC was designed
