Yeah, I get that.  But it's a bit like trying to read a ton of Bret Easton Ellis (to whom Frank Ocean seems to get compared alot) in one sitting.  After awhile, the preoccupation with what's wrong with rich kids gets dull.

I kinda fell in love with ASAP's sound and videos right away, but man, his latest antics don't bode well.  A wretched, ill conceived video with Lana Del Ray; taking 15 minute breaks in the middle of live shows to sit on his ass and smoke a blunt; throwing Sean Penn-style tantrums and taking swings at anyone within

Because shut up.

Haha.  You know, I used to think "Salaam Remi" was some sort of weird talismanic chant he would do at the beginning of his crappier tracks.  As if to say to himself "alright, I can do this, let's just get through it."

I'm having a really hard time getting into this.  I love the genre, like his music and really admire that he came out, which is difficult for any public figure and doubly so for a black musician.

I'm having a hard time taking Nas seriously since that interview he did hear in 2008 in which he said that "Kanye West, OutKast, The Game, Eminem, Plies, Rick Ross, Young Jeezy" give him hope for the future of hip hop.

Gossamer.  Lolz.

Gossamer.  Lolz.

I nearly shat myself at the raw crappiness of the Lilith resurrection thing.
