I just read the audiobook's cast list, and it's pretty stacked.

Really, the only appropriate way to adapt World War Z would be as a Ken Burns style mockumentary.  The book is already a Studs Terkel riff.

He pretty much disowned it the moment the first script was presented to him.

I saw God of Carnage when it played in L. A. with the original Broadway cast. It was fucking awesome.
