One of the plus points of this movie was my rapid education in Urdu swearwords and phrases. If I remember right, the subtitles in the version I saw were at least 50% sanitized to what they were actually saying. It was quite joyous (apart from all the dying ofcourse).

Re #1 it could have been a great-grand father during prohibiton. They never said he was 2nd generation, just that Neals father grappled with this guys dad.

I hated his version of Hamlet. It was too literal and had too many celebrity cameos.. Billy Crystal as the gravedigger (I think) was the most jarring.

I went eagerly to see this movie in India only to find it had been american dubbed. So yeah thats been done. It had some butt jokes if I remember right (atleast involved poop).

100% more dick jokes.
