Seriously, Spartacus has moved past the Boardwalk Empire/Homeland/Game of Thrones tier and is just below Justified/Breaking Bad on my personal ranking of airing shows.  It's too bad that a lot of people are holding on to their early judgments about this show but as McGee has said, it really is their loss.

Who is the bearded pimp/whoremaster?  He has a very familiar face.

After you said 'Goggins' three times, I was expecting ZMF to materialize.

We've got a De Niro up in here, guys.

Ooh, that sounds like fun.  I want to play.

@avclub-b7784c8bc13cfa7214f249fef97abfe9:disqus, @avclub-6dcb1e8963fb3765d8bef5d07092dd44:disqus is right.  I remember you wrote something similar in The Greater Good's comment section as well.  I think someone corrected you there too but I guess you didn't see it.  You said that this Spartacus was merely given the

Good fucking man.

I just finished watching 18 Miles Out.  I squealed at the "queen bee" and "boyfriend" retorts.

I agree with Ralph, but would also add another co-love-to-hate-HOF inductee from HBO: Vern Schilling-er from Oz.

They are Spartaci, all the way down.

Obama's, "…usually I have to work on Saturday", line was hilarious — it just conjured up an image of a miner or someone whose boss just won't give him any time off.

Misplaced, plot-wise.

I'm framing this and putting it on, like, a real wall.

One more 'whore'-titled episode:

@avclub-3be42d8a3412057f79af152555e39bd4:disqus, oddly enough, just as you posted that… I finished watching the 100th episode of The Big Bang Theory as I've been giving it the complete-opposite-of-background-noise treatment for the past few weeks.

Replying to @avclub-3be42d8a3412057f79af152555e39bd4:disqus …

In 1000 years, archeologists won't understand this anymore.  I am here to say: the title was fixed.  Hi, posterity.

Further on the point about mysteries, I think Justified is also notable as a show that achieves greatness without relying much on mystery.  We always know who the bad guys are and actually get scenes only starring them too.  People's motivations and intentions are known, for the most part.  Justified is the perfect

He'd do it too.  After being excluded from the Superbowl ad, he was asked about a sequel to the movie: "I want to be in it; I want to be in anything."
