Membership at Mar-a-lago was doubled fron $100,000 to $200,000 once Trump became president. And he uses it as an extension of the White House - hosting Japan's president there.

I really don't understand Milo Yiannopoulos - shouldn't he be hated by the people who love the crap he says? is he self-hating, or deluded, or is there something I'm not getting?

♫ Shorty got that what-what, Shorty got that good-good! ♫

Lots of little call-backs in this ep. The Alison song. When Winston said he's "calling it" with Jess helping with his engagement, I thought back to Jess and Nick "calling it" with their relationship.

“You really toe the line between sweetness and insanity”

I LOVED the dynamic in this episode - it felt right, and I realised why afterwards. I commented last week that I'd love it if New Girl was reincarnated as a sitcom with 6 leads (like Happy Endings) and we were given a variation of that this week.

Apart from all the ads, the pilot actually AUTOPLAYED once I'd finished the season finale of Crazy Ex last weekend (Netflix UK streams episodes hours after their US network broadcast). How brazen. But Drew Barrymore and Olyphant are

An observation: the real Jake Tapper has 'resting-smirk-face', something Beck Bennett doesn't emulate when playing him (although he smirks to oily perfection when playing Putin).

That was quite the artful humble brag there, mentioning The Simpsons at the end:

Oh shit, the calls of 'Pocahontas' are coming from *INSIDE* the White House.

Some random thoughts I had while watching:

"but what if Wes isn’t dead after all? When bodies go missing, a faked death is certainly on the table."

Dammit!
