Well, *cough*, there is the porn parody "Down on Abby"

LOL! And I can actually imagine her doing that! *still laughing*

The Barrow / Andrew scenes:
“My room or yours”
“Mine – the lighting’s better”

i agree. I will admit I laughed when he said it, and rolled my eyes at Carson looking shocked and I thought "lighten up, dude!"

"Don’t worry, I shall be magnanimous in my victory!" – the sweet, self-congratulatory smile Violet had as she was saying that, while practically rocking in her chair with pride, was just priceless!

Oh, and the previous scene with Mary and Talbot - when Mary was leaving and she was saying goodbye to Evelyn dude: "Good bye Evelyn, you're a darling"

Urgh! – Oh look … new lovers caught out IN THE RAIN … they run for shelter … their eyes meet and they KISS!! How unoriginal!!!

Carson, Carson, Carson – in what universe do you think it is acceptable to tell Mrs Hughes she needs someone to teach her to MAKE THE BED PROPERLY!

At one point I actually groaned and said out loud "Shut the eff up, Daisy!"

Aaaand there we have it - I knew once I said "Catholic priest" that some mention of molestation would come up. Oh well …

Yeah - that's what I thought but wasn't sure if that was just wishful thinking on my part. It was right there with the anusol … had to avert my gaze wondering "Is that what I think it is …?"

Because - *cough* - he, my uncle, is a 70-something year old Catholic priest. And it seemed odd that it was just OUT there, in full view, especially as there are people coming in and out of that room all the time.

I have a question (my first on Savage Love - a bit of a departure from my usual Good Wife / Downton Abbey rants on AV club):

MINOR SPOILER ALERT

Can we have Matt Czuchry play her loving husband and father to her twin girls, who makes her breakfast every morning and kisses her goodbye as she goes off to jury duty …

(alternatively, if the alien had latched onto Mr Carson instead…)

When Lucca started talking to Alicia about being 30 and not having any friends - it really did feel like a "Ghost" moment where Kalinda was using Lucca's body from another realm …

So Diane was going to be a judge several seasons ago, and now she's defending a student in an arbitration at a university? Yes, I got that the girl's parents bring in money for the firm and what-not … but … all this just seemed *beneath* what a seasoned pro like Diane should be doing with her day …

I feel ashamed of myself that I'd forgotten Cary Agos was a character on this show until his first scene half-way through announcing himself as Alicia's lawyer …

(I spent last weekend revisiting old episodes, and wrote about this in AV club's "Your Pop-Culture Weekend" comments section, which I'm pasting below:)
