This Bond court judge we've had in most of this season's episodes is fine and all, but if indeed the show *is* ending then I'm going to need at least one more appearance of:
1. Anna Gasteyer's "In my Opinion" Judge
2. the Military Court Judge
3. last but not least - a bald Judge Abernathy who is now transitioning and

Daisy: "Someone help! get this thing off meh!"

Spratt to Denker: “how did it happen – were you drunk?” his expression as he asked that, while munching on some biscuits or whatever, was priceless! I used to be irritated by Spratt's weird voice and funny facial expressions but this season he's grown on me …

Oh, I just asked the same question above. It's not like he KNEW Tom or anything …

Did anyone else think for a split second at first that that was Kevin Kline playing the Minister Chamberlain? (Just me then? Okay ….)

“I don’t mean to sound snobbish – but I won’t marry down” – says Mary to the chauffeur who shacked up with her sister …

Aww - I actually smiled at the Molesly and Baxter scenes, they seemed like a sweet real-life couple in the court house scenes (they should get out together more!)

I knew it was coming and I was still like "Oh shit!" at the sheer VELOCITY of the splatter - all over Cora's face!! (there's a dirty joke there that I'm not touching …)

Is it wrong that - if something alien *had* burst out of Robert's chest, I'd want nothing more than for it to scurry downstairs and plant itself right smack on Daisy's petulant face!

Never saw Jump Tomorrow, but I've seen the black-and-white short it is based on - Jorge - several times on UK's Channel 4 back in the day. Loved it - and as you say about the fulllength film, the short was very sweet

By the way, 2 of my many fave quotes that I haven't seen from a cursory look at the comments below:

So - I disappear for just *one day* - having to take two long flights with a long layover - come back on AV CLUB and there's a WHOLE ARTICLE ABOUT MOURNING HAPPY ENDINGS with 500+ comments that I've missed out on!

Actually no - she'd be the type to join Amnesty international and promptly rub everyone up the wrong way - complain they aren't moving fast enough - and barge into ongoing peace talks with some evil dictator and singlehandedly have her insults and ignorant remarks spur him on to call the whole thing off - and become

"I'm surprised you know what a gear stick is"
Lady Violet: "I know more than you think"
——

I was left wondering "Is he the only cop in the villaaaage?"

Now, imagine Carson's face if *he* had been around to open the door and see a former maid he used to order about standing there … He may not publicly embarass her like Barrow, but I could see him going "Lord Grantham, may I have a word …" almost straight away.

I tensed up with second-hand embarrassment at that moment at dinner when Barrow goes to the former maid: “You recall Mr Carson, madam … *surely*“

When Lord Grantham was reprimanding Barrow, he goes :“Carson is a kind man – don’t overlook that”

Aaargh!! DAISY is still the WORST! That was painful to watch - I cringed through everything she said and did!
