It's the actor. He's good in UK shows, but absolutely grating in anything I've seen him play an American.

At some point towards the end of her tenure they just had her scenes pretty much consist of CHAUFFEURING SOME KID around in episode after episode!

‘Hey – Are you hugging them while they’re making out?’

OK, looking back - things started to go wrong and stuck-in-a-loop pretty much the minute Will died, because it was at that point that Diane, in her grief, suggested to Alicia that they partner - and since then it has been non-stop law firm musical chairs.

That jail/trial subplot was intense and quite dark - almost like a different show. Matt Czuchry nailed it. I actually felt stressed watching those scenes - remember when his hand was slashed by one of Bishop's goons?

I thought the exit package storyline was AFTER they said she couldn't work there because of the new client.

That better be ER Julianna, Bevers!

Yeah, I agree with most of what you've just said. When I said he "doesn't really care" I didn't mean he doesn't care about the quality of his work or mean to imply he's not dedicated.

I must admit when we first saw her in this ep I too thought "it's the Ruth Wilson lawyer chick" for a few secs before mentally correcting myself

Actually it's more believable those who've been to the apartment before countless times could accidentally get off on an identical looking floor and just walk on auto-pilot the exact same way they always do and knock on a door in the position they expect Alicia's to be, if they are day-dreaming/distracted.

We'd all be better off if they just simply said "Fuck the original premise!"

I read that as "she's a good lawyer and wants to get laid"…

It's possible - but then maybe *they* lost interest.

Ouch - poor Christine Lahti. But I agree - with the decline in what her character is given to do, I miss Christine Baranski, even while I'm watching her on screen in The Good Wife!

I agree. I used to lament his waste of talent on this show. But seeing him in interview I thought "why am I feeling sorry for him - he's sitting here talking about his investments made possible by working on the show … "

"Endless Loops" starring Julianna Margulies (formerly known as The Good Wife) …. every Sunday on CBS …

Even allowing them the improbability that 6 and 9 could be mixed up in the elevator … whenever anyone gets out of the elevator they have to LOOK FOR THE APARTMENT WITH THE NUMBER THEY WANT - and no way is ANYONE going to knock on 603 when you know you want 903!

I remember The Kings saying back then that they'd heard the fans' complaints about Kalinda's husband loud and clear - so they'd wrap up that storyline sooner than planned and be done with it. Which they did, to everyone's relief.

Ah, OK - that went over my head. But I guess I wasn't a million miles off when I guessed "yiddish americanism" if it's from Seinfeld …
