Honestly, regardless of whatever season you're on I always say to people who are watching Buffy for the first time: "You're so lucky, I wish I could watch it for the first time again." The fact that there are so many different opinions on what the best and worst seasons are (I personally think 6 is underappreciated)

Starship Troopers! Not anywhere on the level of Robocop, but there's a reason that one is also shown at midnight.

I also re-watched Dr. Horrible, and the Buffy musical episode. I was in a major Whedon mood after the high of seeing The Avengers for the first time.

Because electromagnetism.

@avclub-e9ff4d75e5f009d75101694ff6f1f80a:disqus Animal Practice will stay on the air for as long as they keep making up silly outfits for the monkey to wear.

On a sort-of related note, I'm really tired of comedy actors taking all of my favorite baby names. Poehler/Arnett have Abel, Tina Fey has Penelope (Penny), Elizabeth Banks has Felix and Kaitlin and Rob from Sunny have Axel. I have one favorite boy name left… I really hope Anna and Chris have a girl.

Finals ended today for me and then I get this news… now I'm so happy and unburdened! A full 22 eps is more than I expected, too.

However it is a great karaoke duet provided that both parties are just the right amount of sloshed to sing with conviction.

Placing this here because it fits the category of "movies that are better without all the answers": Donnie Darko. My friends and I would debate the ideas in that film in high school, until the "Director's Cut" came out and Richard Kelley literally spelled it out for the audience by putting pages of the time travel

Do they know if that was Rob Lowe's last episode? I thought he wanted out, but that would have been a pretty anticlimactic way to say goodbye to Chris Treager.

@avclub-792b765aa995daf26cf6f17f519c949d:disqus That was Sayid. Only correcting you because I would have cried rage tears if they had killed off Desmond. Jin and Sun in the submarine though? Loud, miserable sobbing.

I'm just going through some stuff right now, don't worry about it.

You can't have the light without the dark, my friend.

BUT NOT REALLY FOR REAL BECAUSE IF THAT DOES HAPPEN IT TOTALLY WASN'T ME

I SECOND THIS ONLY FIFTEEN MINUTES UNTIL THE SEASON FINALE IF ITS THE SERIES FINALE NBC IS GETTING POOP IN A BOX FOR REAL

Hey congrats! She'll one day appreciate having a dad that will show her the Community box set and all the other cool shit he was into when he was young. (My dad showed me Dr. Strangelove when I was 13, never been the same- in a good way)

Hot.

I don't know, as a kid who didn't like dancing all that much, I found a lot of electronica to be too repetitive, but I liked the musicality of Aphex Twin. So they were actually my gateway to other stuff in the genre. (I'm pretty sure the "Come to Daddy" EP is where I started too.)

I agree that Play is a solid album, it's just been tainted by the lesser material (and a few hipster vegan raw cafes) that he's produced afterwards.
