I should have specified MVP quarterback was made ti so rare. MVPs at other positions are occasionally allowed to walk, but going through the whole season with a QB playing at MVP levels unsigned is pretty unusual. Not that there's any chance they'll let him walk now, but I still feel like it was worth some discussion,

That was pretty much my math, too.

Well, now I have to go get this and find some people to play with me. Thanks for that. Like I don't have enough time sucks already…

That was basically it, along with the fact that he got no love and was dropped from teams he played well for.

Once it was over, and I was comparing the segments of the show, the Ming Dynasty segment was a letdown compared to how much I enjoyed the Tudor segment. During the Ming Dynasty segment, as I watched, I was thinking, "eh, this
show is kinda meh" then the Tudor segment made me go "Okay, this is
kinda fun and cool." Does

I did not. I will check it out, sounds great. And I understand they aren't technically "bionic" but they're still totally sweet and science fictional.

I hear what you're saying. I don't like seeing NFL players get concussed either. What I was trying to express was that most of the wrecks were easy to enjoy, since it looked liked no one was hurt, but that one kind of sucked the fun out of it.

Also a classic. Go re-read it now. You will be glad you did.

The assignment was to pick one, so I could not pick "all Pinkwater's books" but I probably would have if I could have. And yes, Snarkout Boys & The Avocado of Death is probably my No. 2 favorite (Lizard Music is close) and no doubt has something to do with why I am still obsessive about midnight movies, especially

The march into season 3 of Mad Men continued with the episode "Souvenirs." Carnivale was finished in a mostly satisfactory way (if ever a show could have used a third season, it was this one; it was juts hitting its stride when it ended). Community was caught up upon, with one of the best episodes of the season (maybe

Started off the weekend with a late-night showing of Southland Tales, which was my first chance to see it in a theater. I highly recommend seeing it that way—it's no less confusing, but it's a much bigger, more enveloping experience and I picked up on nuances I had overlooked on half a dozen previous viewings. I also
