Sisko, or GTFO.

"Journey of the Sorcerer" and "Nightengale."

^^^^

As big of asshats as they are, I find I can't keep myself from enjoying their music. Yeah, it's overplayed as shit and I have no need to ever throw in their Greatest Hits or Hotel California as a result. But damned if I don't sing along and start tapping my toes when I (inevitably) hear one of their songs somewhere.

Carrie would've been alright with that.

So this is how liberty dies…

One and one-half wandering Jews
Free to wander wherever they choose
Are traveling together
In the Sangre de Christo
The Blood of Christ Mountains
Of New Mexico
On the last leg of a journey
They started a long time ago
The arc of a love affair
Rainbows in the high desert air
Mountain passes
Slipping into stone
Hearts and bones
Heart

Too many cool parts of that movie to name just one. But Carrie belongs on that list.

Yeah, we gotta stop somewhere. Anything more and we get as greedy and nasty as THEY are.

I see your point… How many more are there?

As a Wisconsite, fuck no. I know all too well what a Machiavellian prick he is. Let's make it "Top two candidates-elect and top incumbent" then.

Oh, stop.

Let's go with the top two "candidates-elect," and call it a year.

So did I, and I really loved it. It was dark, heartbreaking, but a very satsifying film (THAT'S how you do a prequel) that was unexpectedly hopeful, yet, poignant at the very end (for obvious reasons I will not spoil here). I teared up.

Um, yeah. About that…

Minus Trump and Pence, and you've got a deal.

But he lived to see the Cubs win it (pretty much the only good thing about this year) and his tweets during the postseason were a joy to read.

How and when did he ever fall off?

Why do we live in such a shitty world?

You're rather confident this whole planet's going to survive.
