F! MURRAY! ABRAHAM!

IT'S NOT BATMAN!

No one's saying Kershaw's not good. Of course he is. Just that he's not invincible, as last night proved (not to mention his postseason history prior to this year). Even if Toles doesn't take his eyes off the ball, the Cubs sure seemed to have his number by pouncing on his fastballs early. Cubs likely still win either

Exactly. The 2003 team was pretty good, but not even on the same planet as the current squad.

Neat… *snap snap*

Well they had those three strong pitchers (and everyone thought Prior was the future, though in retrospect I wonder if he wasn't juicing in those massive legs of his) and a team can ride talented, young pitching pretty far. No one remembers closer Joe Borowski either, but he had a very good year and was an unsung hero

Do what Dollar Bill says, for sure.

RIGGED!

BONUS: After Kyle's awesome game (not mention Lester's excellent postseason) maybe the sports media can stop fellating Kershaw all the time.

Fine, "Go Cubs Go" is sort of lame. But there is something about 40,000 people singing it in unison, celebrating after a win, that's pretty cool.

They can have it next year, fine.

Exactly. Thank you.

Cubs fans may not care about any of that. It's about this ONE TEAM, not the others.

The thing is, most Cubs fans don't talk about, or want to hear about, Bartman anymore. I, along with other Cubs fans I talk with, express sympathy over what happened and realize it was not his fault.

FUCK YEAH CUBS!!

Her name was Joanne, and she lived in a meadow by a pah-ah-ahhhnd.

No, it's Bob Seger!

In Dusty you shouldn't trusty.

Believe me when I say to you Alasdair hopes the Russians love their children too.

They've lived long enough to have learned the closer you get to the fire the more you get burned…
