I've seen 55% of the movies on the list. Not bad.
In his Charlie Kaufman/Duke Johnson interview, Dowd credited Johnson for directing "Intro to Felt Surrogacy" and not "Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas." That ain't right..and not just because "Intro to Felt Surrogacy" was directed by Tristram Shapeero.
Yeah, I wanted to give a reasonable amount of time for people to catch-up. For example, certain movies (Anomalisa, The Revenant, Son of Saul, The Hateful Eight) won't even be available for most of us to see until January.

I'm surprised that Broad City fell so much compared to last year's rankings. I thought the consensus was that the show got better this year, no?
This evening, The Good Dinosaur became the second movie I ever saw in which I was the only one seated in the theater (the first was Pacific Rim two years ago). I imagine that a combination of school night plus ugly weather had something to do with it. I felt like a sad millionaire renting my own private screening.
I watched it, too! I even placed it on my top ten last year. Great to hear that the show ended well.
We're in the calm before the storm right now. In just three days, the critic embargoes will be lifted and we will finally get our first The Force Awakens reviews.
