Was Troy's "don't eat the crab dip" joke funny?

This weekend gave me the most free time that I've had in a while, so I took the opportunity to catch up on a lot of things, while also going to see a few movies in theaters.

To say that recent Palme d'Or winner Dheepan experiences a tonal shift during its story is an understatement, as it really ends up playing like two different movies that are each an hour in length. I like the 20 second countdown clock montage that Cinemax does before the start of every The Knick episode. It really gets me pumped to watch the show. The little factoid about life in 1900s New York they include is pretty neat, too.

It's been a good week to be a White Sox fan.
