I also really like episode, it reminded me of the episodes from season 1 or 2. And this time things were also making sense with the mythology or with the history.

It  was written that the actor moved back to LA and might be back as guest star, but not as a regular cast memember as far as I know.

I loved the plot, but as you I wasn't emotionally moved like so many were. It felt so clear that Jermey would die and Elena would accept it and break down, but kudos it was really great acted and written.  Buring down the Gilbert house felt for me as well like one of the most permanent things this show has done. I

It also is a bit weird that Silas is buried in Canada 2000 yr ago when he seemed to have lived in the middle east according to the language and people didn't know about America..whatever those questions won't bring me anywhere ;)

I so agree the whole Jermy and Bonnie scenes were great written and it was nice to see them finding Silas and not the typical Damon, Stefan or Elena finding it. Silas looked pretty creepy in a good way. They did it great job with the whole scenerie in the well and caves.
I did not see coming the death so fast.  I will

I so agree. It felt not like TVD and Elena is difficult to like for me. She feels so selfish. And Shand and all of them just trusts the ghost Shane saw…appearing to be Shane's wife..I so agree. I don't believe it was her.
