If there was anything Lynchian about this episode I found it pretty skin-deep. A couple of bizarre objects in the abandoned house and the Mullholland Drive, but tonally it felt closer to noir (with less humor) than any Lynch I've seen.

I'm gonna give him a chance, but it wasn't much of a start for sure.
