Can't say I'm surprised. Have you ever had Filipino Spaghetti? It follows a tried and true principle of Filipino cuisine: There's nothing that hot dogs can't be added to.

No Frasier? The innkeepers episode (where they open the restaurant "Les Frères Heureux") almost killed me because I couldn't breathe.

And Star Wars

I love that first photo. It captures the unique look of BSG. It's gritty, and handheld, and everything feels worn down and real. It's amazing they produced an FX-laden sci-fi show on such a (comparatively) small TV budget, but they used that to their advantage. Someone once said that if they had been given $1 million

Family was the first episode of Trek to not have a bridge scene. It gets a lot of kudos and all, but the Paramount execs essentially said, "that was cute; don't ever do it again."

I've got a copy of his unpublished book about Trek. So sad he died of brain cancer. He was one of the best.

Meanwhile, Ronny Cox is delivering the tough love in Picard's absence. I loved that, because he's like, "What the hell is going on around here?" and immediately instills some discipline. You know he's awesome when the first thing he does is point at Troi and tell her to put on some damn clothes, and she not only does,

I gave up on Voyager with the episode with Michael McKean as the Space Clown. Ugh. All those promises from the showrunners early on about how they'd deal with realistic issues like shortages, and eventually we get to Space Clown, and I threw my hands in the air and gave up.

So, is that the reason why the amount of Voyager fanfic is like orders of magnitude larger than the amounts of all other Trek fanfic? (Including the slash Kirk/Spock fanfic, as well as the slash Kirk/Spock furry fanfic?)

Well, sorta, but the patient was terminal at that point, and the franchise was well and truly burned out by then.

Technically, its Qapla'

My two favorite scenes from III are the Enterprise returning to spacedock and the reactions of everyone at all the battle damage. Then, when they steal the Enterprise. It's some of James Horner's most stirring work ever, and, even rarer, I cannot recall him recycling it for any other movie.

Remember that TNG began while Reagan was still in office. It's so weird to say that. We've come a long way, baby.

That's my big problem with Insurrection. I remember the opening scene of the village, and I distinctly remember thinking that it looked like a television set, and I was angry because Paramount always penny-pinched on the TNG movie budgets and then complained that they didn't do well at the box office.

Moore gave that interview about a year or so after he left Trek. He definitely felt betrayed by Braga; they had both gotten their starts in TNG, and they wrote Generations together, as well as Mission Impossible II. I recall interviews from the time that Braga really wanted Voyager to be more and more like an

I'll happily take II and III without IV. I remember watching in the theater and crying at Spock's death, and then the Enterprise exploding and burning upon re-entry was like a gut punch. IV undid all that and hit the big ol' reset button.

That and the spandex uniforms were causing all sorts of issues with backs. Plus, can you imagine how hot it must have been wearing an all-spandex uniform under television lights? Plus, they looked like crap. The S3 uniforms that replaced them became instant classics because they looked so good. (And Picard's

It all sounds like this guy knows what he's talking about, which begs the question as to how the hell did they fire him and then not get him to sign an NDA? Just toss a ton of severance at him.

You guys go right for the jugular!
