On the bright side, they have killed off enough characters at this point that the it's now down to a manageable number. Although it was lame to introduce a bunch of dull/stereotypical characters only so they could serve as zombie-fodder throughout the season.

For me, the quality of the first season was all over the place. The first episode was phenomenal, but then episode 2 introduced us to a bunch of poorly written characters whose motivations made absolutely no sense. Later episodes would (almost) recapture the quality of episode 1, but then the quality would drop off…

I'm not giving up on this show.
But it's teetering on the brink.

But I feel like Miller's recent insanity runs so deep that it retroactively infects much of his earlier work, or at least it highlights the latent crazy that existed in that work.

I'm under the impression that Peter Dinklage's English-y accent is pretty bad (notwithstanding his general good acting), but being American, I'm not really one to judge these things.
