What happened?
The Fiery Furnaces' first 2 albums are fucking great. Then, despite already being pretty weird, they decided they weren't really weird enough. Everything I've heard since then has been almost unlistenable.

What the fudge?
@Bender - Tyreese is listed as a separate character, with a named actor and everything on wikipedia. IMDB, however, doesn't list Tyreese, and also seems to indicate that T-Dog will remain in the series for the remaining episodes of this season.
Sack of monkeys in my pocket, my sister's ready to go.
Is that really all?
"All he has for survival are a bottle of water, a little food, and a dull penknife"
I'm a torso!
Led by journalist Jack Perkins, apparently:
I watched the first episode, and I hated it. But I figured that was because I hate musicals with a passion.
Oh I stole his joke all right. If he wants it back, tell him to meet me at 3462 Hargett St. in Edison, New Jersey at 5:36 AM on November 3. COME ALONE.
shitegeist - I'm assuming that means they'll be dusting off the fat suit as well?
I accidentally double posted once, and the viciousness of the subsequent replies had me crying myself to sleep for weeks. I do not envy you, miss.
The question is…
…where will they find someone unattractively handsome enough to play a younger Edward James Olmos? That man is so ugly, he somehow manages to come out the other end of the spectrum and become good-looking.
Hold on a minute. In retrospect, The Matrix (the first one, anyway) turned out to be pretty good, and I, Robot was terrible. But looking at these two projects in the abstract, one was an adaptation of a classic Asimov book, and the other was a new concept by the dudes who wrote Assassins.
Get your facts right O'Neal!
Obama actually endorsed the "Americans in Favor of a Return to Sanity, or Something Like That" Rally, a much more exclusive event. Attendance is invitation only, and will be limited to Sean Penn, a select group of gay pot-smoking abortionists, and keynote speaker Osama Bin Laden.
The Usual Suspects sucks.
I said it, and I'm not apologizing for it. I waited for my opening - to wit, Hugh Jackman referencing the film in a vapid statement about how "dark" a comic book character is - and I took it.
A Jewish entertainer? Get out of here!
Frank Miller is someone who thinks that an ill-defined middle-eastern "they" are a product of a race so backwards, they couldn't invent a microphone regardless of the time and resources at their disposal. Do you think someone this daft appreciated the fact that the Battle of Thermopylae occurred in the pre-Islamic…
Um, it's not as if the motivations behind 300 are some sort of mystery. We are talking about and adaption of a Frank Miller comic. This is a man who has quite openly embraced the notion that we are in the midst of grand Clash of Civilizations pitting the modern west against the barbaric east.
Without the influence of modern-day racist Frank Miller, I'm afraid Cristobal: An Ocean of Blood will only be a pretender to the throne. McG might even try to insert some "message" about how the natives didn't deserve to die in the most gruesome manner possible. Liberals!
I'm surprised no one has posted this…
