Judging from the clips above the show seems a lot more interesting and sympathetic than I had assumed. He's not doing the hilarious "retard character" approach as much as he seems to be a general, heartfelt type that might live in a group home because of any of a number of circumstances. I'm actually pretty excited

How'd that fat kid learn to bully from Robin Williams in Good Will Hunting?

If you really want to respect Carville as a political strategist but hate him as a human being who does this as a job and has no belief whatsoever in what he does, I'd suggest watching Our Brand is Crises, a doc about when he was hired during a Bolivian campaign.

Actually thought this was some riot-grrrl lesbian-rap thing from the still on the front page.

What if I've seen everything Tim and Eric have done since their internet shorts and think B$M was mediocre?

Phew, at least Clarence is a 4G Hotspot and not a fellow human being. Now I don't have to feel anything while I step over his ravaged body in the gutter to get some new hot pink sunglasses to wear at a post-Chillwave revival show I'm about to check out.

Adam Sandler has finally been paired with a comedic actor actually worse than himself (Andy Samberg). This might be a black hole of unfunny.

Honestly, I grew up watching and loving the Evil Dead series as well as Dead Alive but having re-watched both fairly recently I thought Dead Alive was a lot better. Evil Dead has a sort of slap stick thing in it but Dead Alive seems more influenced by 40's and 50's Hollywood in a strange way. Plus the way Jackson just

That Blitzkrieg song rules, I'm pretty glad I was introduced to them. Also pretty cool that it starts as a cover of Hocus Pocus which was the theme song to Saxondale.

Both those guys represent pretty much everything I hate in comedy. Although his young counterpart Andy Samberg might be slightly worse.

You've made an interesting point dead greg and certainly negated the hyperbolic nature of my 4 word comment!

And I don't actually get why this is an Armond White joke post.

What's wrong with it?

I think the extent of Arnold's politics at the time was doing some jumping jacks on the whitehouse lawn.

pff I bet Johnny Cash never actually shot a man in Reno just to watch him die

"Go back and really listen to Amerikkka, Lethal Injection, Predator, the songs are pretty much mash ups of stereotypes of being a "gangsta", no personal experience, and not even a really accurate portrayal of poor urban life (at least poor urban life as I knew it at my suburban mid west high school)."
lol

Ice Cube was raised in South Central LA and was rapping about a lot of the issues that sparked the riots years before they happened. I'd argue he had a right to include himself in the royal 'we' of the moment.

I'd appreciate a show like Nerdist a lot more if it didn't try to co-opt the term Nerd. I have no problem with socially well adjusted, good looking people talking about sci fi, they just shouldn't pretend that they are nerds.
