Sorry, but that pubic hair was pretty terrible: the one bonus of the 80's was when women began trimming them down into landing strips and so forth. I do remember the first bush I saw (live, I mean) and in retrospect that thing was fucking gigantic.

You'd have hated living in late 80's NYC a lot more: that shit was night of the living baseheads. I was only a kid in the 70's, so my memories are more rose tinged for that decade, although I do remember going to Yankee Stadium in the 70's and being amazed at the decay in the Bronx. There were buildings with giant

Maybe not the pubic hair so much though…

And that's ALWAYS a good thing.

CLU-TANG IN DA HOUSE!

"Helpless people op a subway train scream bug eyed as he looks in on them" - I love that line far more then I should.

Because like me you were born in the very early 70's and remember the decade rather fondly, albeit without rose tinted nostalgia glasses?

It's along the lines of "Don't take this the wrong way" when you know you absolutely should take it the wrong way.

You know unlike a lot of people on these boards I generally respect your opinion, but this time isn't one of them. Witch Queen is a good song, but Come and Get Your Love is an all time classic.

THIS. As someone who grew up as a kid in the 70's, this shows feels very accurate: nostalgic without the romanticizeation of the era.

I didn't know the new season was out. This is great news! I love this show. As a child of the 70's it's pretty fucking accurate.

You bunch of fucking hatebreeders!

I'm wondering if that's how my nephews and nieces all see me…excuse me while I chug the Jameson AND the Johnny Walker. I'll be vomiting on the new hardwood floors later if you need me.

I'd disagree with you: it wasn't that he wanted to fuck his bandmates out of money as much as he didn't want DK songs in car commercials.

Man, I forgot about Insomniac. Fuck but I loved that show, and I would have honestly killed to have that job.

Not as shocking as "Janie Jones"

My pop culture weekend consisted of opening my pool, taking my three girls to the 'steamer' trains, and studying (and getting a 91) in my business law course.

I actually read the book before seeing the film: the casting in that film really ruined it for me. The casting of "Oscy" in particular really bothered me.

This is absolutely accurate: my daughters got pictures with both.

Yup, pretty much.
