I knew I couldn't avoid the infamous A.V. Club comment board hazing for long. Well done, Jorge.

Short film before Bolt?
I've heard there's a short film in front of "Bolt" that's pretty interesting. Are these rumors true?

George Salisbury
is my graphic design hero. His surround sound speaker test should come on every new DVD.

Calamari Wrestler
One of my favorite late night Japanese imports. I didn't realize that this kind of thing was typical of Kawasaki. Consider "Executive Koala" added to my Netflix queue.

My main problem with this record…
Barnes doesn't give enough time to any one musical idea and none of the snippets are given room to breathe and bloom into full-length songs. It reminds me of Girl Talk's last album, in that you wish he would've stayed on one really good sample combination for just a little bit longer.

Coming soon: Pulse
I hope you're talking about the original Kiyoshi Kurosawa film "Kairo," and not the god-awful Wes Craven-penned remake.

30 rock
Is The A.V. Club selling out space for product placement in its articles?

It recovers slightly when Dennis from "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" shows up for about 5 minutes.

gerry with robots
Looks like Daft Punk sat through a screening of this before they made "Electroma."

I love her audiobooks
Like her last two audiobooks, this one has a ton of special guests, including Catherine Keener, Dermot Mulroney, Bill Hader, John Slattery, John Hodgman, John Oliver (a lot of Johns). I'm sorry if I sound like a commercial, but I just think that if you're not interested in a book about the

Don't Believe the Truth
Don't sell this album short. True, it is amazing compared to Oasis' post-Morning Glory output, but it's an incredibly solid rock record in its own right. Hardly forgettable.

Future A.V. Club Taste Test?
As if you guys didn't need another reason to drink vodka at work.

Not impressed
All of the exteriors for this show were filmed in my hometown of Wilmington, NC, so my friends and I got a bit of mileage out of guessing where they shot each sketch. However, I'd have to say about 80% of the show was really bad, Eddie Murphy-in-a-fat-suit-quality comedy. Only the bit with Phyllis and

Why just the second series of "The IT Crowd"? Why not all of it?

Kenny
One of the best mockumentaries not directed by Christopher Guest. I highly recommend checking it out.

Yeah, I guess it doesn't help that her name is more unpronounceable than Charlie Kaufman's new movie.

So long, "Dark Knight"
This also marked the first week since its debut that "The Dark Knight" wasn't in the top 10. It took ten weeks, but it had to happen sooner or later.

Iben Hjejle
Even though her IMDb page is flooded with work from her home country of Denmark, John Cusack's adorable and multi-faceted girlfriend in "High Fidelity" deserves more work stateside.

I need to move.
This is playing in every theater in town this weekend, but "Choke" is nowhere to be found. If Christians get to see their pretentious firefighting, marriage-on-the-ropes movie, I should be able to see Sam Rockwell commit every conceivable sex act Chuck Palahniuk could think of.

Richard Jenkins
I thought he played one of the saddest, most pathetic people in this film, and any attempts to make fun of him were ruined by how well he portrayed his character. Other than that, the rest of the cast behaved like a bunch of looneys and I loved it.
