"Room a Thousand Years Wide" is amazing, IMO.

Please, it was 1004. He had four more holds.

1004.

Watch last night's Late Night w/ Seth Myers.

Yeah, him being repeatedly elected mayor by the people of Pawnee and being surrounded by everyone he loved, with beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and living what he called a "perfect life" was really rough on the character.

Alasdair,

I actually own Season 3 on DVD, because it's the greatest thing ever and I wanted with me always and forever.

The "Low Cal Calzone Zone" is probably my favorite joke in the entire series.

"End of the World" is the episode I point to for people who have never watched the show to check out; it doesn't really require any backstory, and it highlights everything great about the show.

The online dating episode ("Soulmates") also has my favorite camera glance of all time. Leslie and Tom are sitting in the restaurant, and Tom asks Leslie what's going on; she says "promise you won't tell anyone?", and he does this really quick glance directly at the camera, and says "sure!".

I think it's #1 with room to spare.

"Where to first?"
"Your mother's butt."

"You're stupid, you're a jerk, and you're stupid!"

It's possibly my favorite episode of television ever.

My wife bought the book for me as a gift and it is fantastic. Highly recommended to anyone who loves the show and has not read it. Leslie's footnotes are amazing (esp. regarding Ben's comments on JJ's).

My best friend and I often compare the two shows, and we agree that Parks & Rec is the modern equivalent to Cheers. That's a pretty good thing to be compared to, IMO.

As soon as I saw the article listed, I made my own list to see how many it would have in common with this one. Somewhat surprisingly, only 3 out of 10. Similarly, I didn't pick my absolute favorite episodes (because it would have been like 60% season 3 episodes, the best season of any show in history), just the 10

Considering his actions., I assumed that was a given.

To be fair, that Santa was drunk and was being disruptive. Not to say Philly fans wouldn't have thrown snowballs at him anyway, necessarily, but in this one instance, it was somewhat justified.

Careful; you'll cut yourself on that edge.
