Fuck it. I still love this song.  Although, the music video is truly atrocious, and you can tell this guy doesn't really have to vocabulary to talk about music because he keeps on coming back to the music video.  If he was more articulate, maybe he would have convinced me to hate it.  But no go.

I think it was in season 1 when George Bluth Sr. says something along the lines of, "He really was a good therapist."  It's been a while since I've watched the first season, but I believe Tobias Funke was helping him work stuff out while they were both in jail together.  Maybe it was just a throwaway line, but I

Has anyone listened to Childish Gambino.  I have.  And you know what? It sucks.  Donald Glover just isn't very good at the rap thing.  But he is really good at playing Troy.  Donald Glover is in a real life Tobias Funke situation.

Somehow I think the fact that The Lone Ranger Bombed will make studios think twice about green lighting a period piece horror epic.  From here on out anything with a large budget will take place in the present day that way we don't have to think about the past, thank the gods.

I tend to agree.  The fourth Pirates was a little messy in places (they had no clue what to do with Cruz's character in the second half of the movie), but there were some great action sequences and it had a lighter touch than two or three.

I'm surprised how excited I am to see this movie.  I think part of it has to do with the fact that there have been a lot of by the number blockbusters in the past few years.  Now, there's nothing wrong with a well crafted story I've seen before, but there aren't too many surprises during the summer months.  Good or

But my point had nothing to do with popularity.  I was discussing critical reception, both among people who examine movies professionally and the internet class.  Quality is a little more than just subjective opinion.  Pure subjective opinion would be whether or not I liked vanilla ice cream.  It either tastes good to

Of course.  Because language works in a direct fashion and words cannot signify on multiple levels.  It's not as if something like connotation exists.

Of course, this is assuming that popularity equals quality.  This would mean that you similarly believe that Titanic is the greatest film of all time. (Unless it was beaten by Avatar. I can't remember).  Or maybe Gone with the Wind if you want to do this in real dollars.

This also happened with Chick Fila (or however it's spelled).  I call the phenomena, "As bigoted as I wanna be."  It's an outpouring of support in order to show the world that you will be as racist/homophobic as you want, and no one will stop you or your similarly racist/homophobic icons.

I don't necessarily think that homophobia had a serious impact on its box office numbers, but there is no doubt in my mind that in some circles it affected how it was received.  I remember reading a ton of homophobic comments in the year or so after it was released any time the movie was brought up on an entertainment

I actually think that The Man of Steel might help revive Superman Returns's reputation.  I'm a fan of Singer's movie, but it does have a few flaws.  Chiefly, its Donner worship is both fascinating and a bit of a hindrance.  But most people on this here internets complain that Superman doesn't punch enough stuff.

Woah, I've never heard someone criticize a band so mainstream before.  Way to give it to the court of public opinion. Pepsi Jr.: So bold, so brash.

Whenever I start to get nostalgic for the 90s, I remind myself of the bland rock radio that dominated the second half of the decade.

I haven't seen the movie, but I can't imagine that diverging from the source material hurt it in any way.  The original book was terrible.  It's a wonderful concept that is bogged down by mediocre writing and leaden attempts at "social commentary." (The chapter on all the celebrities who holed up in one house was a

Fuck you for tricking me into looking up "Shirt Tales."

I'm not proud, but I have enjoyed every minute of this woman's downfall.

Tell us where you are being held and who has captured you, obviously forcing you to read all of those terrible blogs.  I'll send help right away!

Sam has never voiced concern that Michael's accents are a train wreck, so maybe he just can't hear/recognize accents at all.
