I tend to agree.  The fourth Pirates was a little messy in places (they had no clue what to do with Cruz's character in the second half of the movie), but there were some great action sequences and it had a lighter touch than two or three.

Of course.  Because language works in a direct fashion and words cannot signify on multiple levels.  It's not as if something like connotation exists.
