Answer: very.  It is very great.

I actually have a problem even defining Bush's music as grunge.  At best you can call them post-grunge or pseudo-grunge.  They're essentially a copy of a copy.  There are a few bands in the 90s outside of Seattle that I might call grunge bands, but very few.  The big stew of metal, punk, and psychedelia combined with

You are wrong about Super Black Market Clash.  But as a consolation prize, you get to be right about how great 1-2 Crush On You is.

Is this Ken Jennings?  If not, then shut up!

I haven't seen Willow in a long, long time, but I do remember immensely enjoying the movie as a kid.  It's only been in the last few years that I learned there was an internet consensus that the movie sucks.  But I guess if the internet says so, then it must be the case.

I can't disagree more about Reality.  It might not be his best latter day album, but it's probably his most immediate.  It was also a nice change of pace from the more languid Heathen.  If you can't see the merit in songs like "She'll Drive the Big Car" or "Days," then I just can't help you.

Color me crazy, but I think Bowie's recent output, beginning with hours…, is entirely underrated.  He sounds more immediate and fresher than some of his 60s musical contemporaries.  I'd much rather listen to new millennial Bowie than new millennial Dylan any day.

You've sold me.  I haven't seen a Kevin Smith film in a long time, and I haven't really liked his more recent films.  But I still have a sneaking suspicion that he started out with a good deal of talent, even if it has been squandered in recent years.

Is it just me or are there a lot more people here angry that AVClub is actually assessing the quality of House of Cards than there are in forums for other TV shows?  I'm not sure why people are particularly defensive about House of Cards.  I don't always agree with the reviews 100%, but I think they're a pretty

I've been thinking about rewatching Clerks I recently.  I'm a little afraid.  I remember really enjoying that film back in the day.  Sure, the acting is terrible, but I remember finding that to be more charming than distracting.  I first saw the film when I was in middle school/high school and my friends and I did

It's amazing to me that with the over the top insanity of Newcombe, I came out of watching the movie thinking, "Man, that Courtney Taylor-Taylor is a real douche."

Personally, I like artwork that's unwieldy.  There are a few movies, novels (usually shorter ones), and poems that I would put in the category of perfect or near perfect.  But I actually think perfection is somewhat overrated.  It's great to experience a perfect work of art, but perfection doesn't normally move a

I want to love White Light/White Heat, but "The Gift" has always marred that album for me.  It's, in my opinion, a self-indulgent mess.  And it has very little replay value.  The rest of the album is brilliant, but that one song really puts a damper on the entire enterprise.

It must be painful to have your individuality stripped from you like that.

I like how they call it The Hangover Part III, as if it is a part of a larger cohesive story.  Like, if you watch all three in a row, then they will all flow together like the Lord of the Rings films.

This almost makes up for (spoiler alert) Wesley's death in Angel.

Eddington's speech about the Borg remind me how much the villains in Star Trek are mirror images of the Federation itself.  Each tries to form a large alliance among diverse alien lifeforms, but where the Federation attempts to do so through diplomacy and compromise, the Borg or the Founders do so with a little more

And man did that guy have swagger.  He would waltz into that room like he was the bees knees.  I remember him telling a client once, "You're not going to like your hair cut, you're going to love it."  And then he went ahead and gave her a femullet.  But sure enough this was another satisfied customer of Nick Arrojo.

Those fried chicken and waffles potato chips aren't the worst thing ever.  I mean, it's an interesting attempt to fit an entire meal into a single chip.  I imagine it's what those pills the Jetsons ate tasted like.

I too, must confess, that I used to watch this show.  My favorite part was always when Nick Arrojo.  He would always give the women these terrible mom styles that just bordered on a femullet.  But the guests mostly liked what he did, which surprised me.  He stuck around for a while, and it wasn't until he was replaced
