It's not surprising that these movies exist.  After all, they're probably made on the cheap and most likely make back their costs easily.   What's really depressing, however, is the fact that these movies were really popular for a while.  I think several of these spoofs actually won the box office for a weekend or

That's what really gets my goat.  I know a lot of people hate Spiderman 3, but there are a number of wonderful moments in that film, and I really wanted to see what Raimi would have done with a fourth film.

I don't know who is clamoring for the reheated leftovers that is Webb's Spiderman movies.  The Amazing Spiderman made less money that Spiderman 1, 2 or 3, and yet somehow they're pushing out a sequel.

Why can't people make Firefly interesting?  There has to be some way to make him into a decent character.  I would have thought Dini and Timm would have been able to make Firefly worthwhile, but even they dropped the ball.

The Mars Volta are kind of like the new millennium's Rush.  Thy can play their instruments well, but they just don't have the ability to edit out their bad ideas from their good ideas.

I'll give Extract credit for following through on the adultery theme.  Most films would have inserted a hilarious misunderstanding, but Judge actually had one of his characters commit adultery and then pretty much forgave her.

That fight was a high point for the season.  It brought us back to the characters that we knew.  It made sense in the situation, and you could understand where each person was coming from.  This season may not hit the same high points as the first four, but it does show there's still a little bit of life left in these

McKellan's Richard III is a ton of fun.  It plays almost more like a dark comedy than a tragedy.  They really cut up the play in order to reduce the running time, but it's an interesting take nevertheless.

I can understand why Ron would like Diane.  She doesn't bother me in the least.  But her kids, especially in this episode, are atrocious.  Of course, when television writers try to create young kid or teenager characters the result is almost always awful.

I do think that with the rise of reviews for every single episode, people now have the expectation that a great series is going to turn in 22 amazing episodes a year.  This just isn't possible.  There are going to be great episodes, good episodes, and just plain okay episodes.  Hell, a great series can have a number

I loved it when the old guy mistook Chris for a woman, and then, realizing his mistake, says, "Oh, it's just a beautiful man."  Chris's smile at the compliment was just about perfect.

The Rupert Goold MacBeth is probably one of my favorites.  It stars Patrick Stewart and plays out like a horror film.  I would definitely recommend it.

But this makes sense within the context of the world created by DS9.  The Founders aren't just a group of people with shared physical characteristics.  They actually share, to some extent, a consciousness.  This means they would have a more aggressive bond with each other and resent it when that bond is broken.

For me, Under the Bushes is my favorite.  Obviously Bee Thousand and Alien Lanes are classics, but Under the Bushes hits the sweet spot between experimentation and pop music chops.

I never got around to buying album number three.  I was going to do that this weekend so that I could feel all caught up.  Damn you, Pollard!

I played the hell out of that record in college.  In fact, I'm going to listen to "Fucking's Greatest Hits" right now.

Before I removed it from my ipod, whenever Beth/Rest popped up on shuffle I initially thought to myself, "When did I put the pop song from Karate Kid 3 on here?"  I still stand by that comparison: https://www.youtube.com/wat…

Thanks for the tip!

It bothers me less that The Black Keys are keeping their songs out of commercials than it does when they're putting their songs into commercials.
