I remember reading that Reznor doesn't even consider the song his own any more and won't play it.

Except this time the Wolf is a Wolverine.

A Girl and Her Dog

But with First Class those are just retcons or contradictions. Days of Future Past literally re-wrote the timeline.

Technically, Days of Future Past torched the timeline of the first three X-Men movies (and Wolverine's first two spin-offs).

It's my second or third favorite X-Men movie, unless you want Deadpool as one. Good supporting cast and great fight sequences (other than the last one).

I think the reason why Johnny Cash's version of the song resonates more than the original is because of how old he was when he recorded it. Cash's version comes with the weight of having done a lifetime of shit, whereas Trent Reznor was maybe 30 when he originally recorded the song for The Downward Spiral.

Maybe for her safety? In his mind, Wolverine could be the "villain" and the Reavers are the "Heroes"

I guess sending Wolverine back in time to stop the Sentinel Program only slightly delayed the apocalypse.

I think that's why they're introducing X-23 in this movie.

This is also supposed to be the last movie for Jackman's Wolverine and Patrick Stewart's Xavier. It's a subtle reference to just how long they've been doing this.

I'm just gonna pee in your mouth a littleā€¦

Also the experimental energy company owned by a prick married to the company's blond-haired star scientist.

The rumor is that the Punisher is going to appear on Agents of SHIELD, though.

And all I'm saying is that they have more than enough time to still screw that up.

Arrow, of course, fucks it up.

This may be a bit premature, but does anyone else see the story with Momentum, the Bauers, and the Darkhold having parallels with Isodyne, Whitney Frost and Calvin Chadwick, and the Darkforce from Agent Carter?

So would redirecting Hive's warhead to a small town instead of disabling it.

and a half-dozen demons calling themselves "Satan."

If Briege actually watched Agents of SHIELD, she would know that Coulson considered what he was forced to do with Ward a personal failure.
