What is the point of even trying to maintain a strict continuity over 16+ years? It is not going to happen.

The problem with the X-Men franchise is that it's hardly a "Cinematic Universe." There hasn't been a sense of continuity between films since X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Each installment in the franchise after that essentially wipes the slate clean of the previous ones.

Because the Ghostbusters hate started when the news first broke that the director was looking into a predominately female cast, long before that first trailer dropped. The movie not looking all that good just fanned those flames.

They've always been called the Faith Militant.

I don't want to fuck Tommen, he seems pretty young.

It's funny to me when the heroic music swells while Dany sits on the back of a monster and gets her army excited about raping and pillaging and doing all sorts of terrible things while conquering a foreign land she knows nothing about yet for some reason believes is her's.

Which is why I think it would be strange for people to lose contact with their aunts and uncles at some point. The contact was between my mother and her uncle, not me and my great-uncle. I only met this guy once or twice my entire life. I could just read what his name was, and was able to put together from that my

My mother would get a Christmas card from her mother's brother. Her uncle.

A "summer" entertainment event doesn't necessarily have to coincide with the season. Summer movie season lasts from the first weekend in May (at latest) to Labor Day.

The last day of school here in Atlanta (which is where Cartoon Network is headquartered, if it makes a difference) is tomorrow.

The contact is between an uncle and his niece. Is their case weird, or do most people lose contact with their aunts and uncles once they reach their 30s?

I don't think a Christmas card counts as "lots of contact."
