To also be fair, as a Kansas Citian, the mega-city types who write these kinds of shows don't care that people need to be corrected.  Hell, they could have gotten away with getting it wrong on air, and nobody but people from KC would care or even notice.  I wouldn't mind if people made an honest mistake and had some…
